INTJ 1w2- Here’s What To Expect

-

INTJs remain the top strategists in the MBTI. No one comes close. One variant of the INTJ is the INTJ 1w2. Want to know more about this type?

Stick around. It’s about to get interesting.

How the INTJ 1w2 Differs From Typical INTJs

INTJs are one hell of a personality type. They are intelligent and curious people. They take pride in learning one subject thoroughly and coming to a conclusion. Backed by their extroverted thinking (Te) function, they might feel invincible.

However, with strong logical skills come other issues. INTJs are often insensitive to people’s problems. They might also be fiercely independent. Staying independent can make them more detached or introverted.

This is one reason most INTJs are type 5 in the enneagram of personality. INTJ 1w2s are different. This personality type is more focused on doing the right thing. Because type 1 is an activist and type 2 loves to help, they are more extroverted. Some might even call them extroverted introverts.

INTJ 1w2s is also independent but to a lesser degree. This is down to their wing who wants to help others.

Here’s a table highlighting the differences between typical INTJs and INTJ 1w2s.

Strengths of the INTJ 1w2

1.   Super Disciplined

INTJ 1w2s are very disciplined. Here’s why. INTJs are organized. They try to keep to their schedules and deadlines. Just like ISTJs, they even get annoyed when others are not punctual.

Type 1 is the same. So, you have someone who’s super conscious of their time and schedule. To some, their discipline might even appear a bit excessive. However, it’s just who they are.

2.   Generous

Their wing also adds some spice to their lives. For INTJ 1w2s, they’ll have streaks of generosity. This could be by teaching others or helping them financially.

The strength of their wing determines how evident this trait will be.

3.   Ambiverts

INTJs are super introverts. However, as earlier stated, INTJ 1w2s will be more extroverted. They will talk more and engage in more charitable activities. These are prime events for talking and engagement.

While this is true, INTJ 1w2s will need much recovery time after such an ordeal. They are still INTJs, after all.

4.   Strong Sense of Justice

INTJ 1w9s have a strong sense of right and wrong. Here’s why. INTJs are blessed with introverted feeling. Though not at the top of their functions, it allows them to create internal values.

This, combined with type 1’s need to be ethically sound, means that INTJ 1w9s try to be just. While this is true, their definition of justice is often measured logically, not emotionally.

5.   Rational, Yet Considerate

INTJs are logical people. This remains the same with the INTJ 1w2. However, because of their wing, they become more considerate.

They might do nice things for people and, as earlier stated, be generous. While this is true, their considerate nature will be heavily guarded to avoid manipulation.

6.   Work Ethic

INTJ 1w9 is super hardworking. They’ll pull all the stops to meet their deadline. There’s more. They just don’t want to meet their deadlines. They want to ensure they handle their tasks efficiently.

This makes them effective and reliable in the workplace.

7.   High Standards

This follows the last point. Their reliability and efficiency are down to their high standards. They want to be perfect. Thus, their expectation for themselves and others is sky high.

This has its pros and cons. The pro is that it allows them to perform well. However, the drawback is that it can lead to low self-esteem if they constantly fail.

INTJ 1w2s usually do not fail.

Weaknesses of the INTJ 1w2

1.   Anger+Shame

Type 1 is in the anger triad, while type 2 is in the shame triad. Thus, INTJ 1w9s combine the internal anger and embarrassment of failure in one spicy package.

This personality type can lash out when things are going sour or when they sense incompetence. Their anger issues also make them very impatient.

2.   Self-Critical

As stated earlier, their high standards can lead to low self-esteem. One reason for this is that INTJ 1w2s can quickly become self-critical. One bad mistake and they’ll forget all about their past achievements.

It can take a toll on them if they constantly beat themselves up.

3.   Judgemental

This follows the last point. Their critical nature also extends to others. They can easily grow frustrated and impatient. This usually leads to two things. First, they might use blunt speech that doesn’t hide how they feel about the matter.

They can also take over the task entirely. INTJ 1w2s can also be judgemental when people have different values or belief systems. They might see them as inferior or stupid.

4.   Hypocritical

INTJ 1w9s might have strong values, but they’re only humans. This means they might spend time judging others and still indulge in the same things.

When these things happen, people might be shocked or lose a layer of respect for them.
