INFJ 2w3- Here’s What to Expect

-

INFJs are amazing. However, they come in different shades. When compared with the enneagram of personality, one of those shades is the INFJ 2w3.

This article will address what makes the INFJ 2w3 different, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and so much more.

If this interests you, stick around!

What Makes the INFJ 2w3 Different from Other INFJs?

INFJs are often portrayed as unique people who hang onto their independence fiercely. They see the world through their introverted intuition (Ni) function and are able to connect random dots in a heartbeat.

INFJ 2w3s share some similarities with the original INFJ. However, they are also different in many ways. First, the INFJ 2w3 is not overly concerned with staying independent.

Instead, they are more concerned with helping people they care about. When INFJs are described as sensitive and warm, these are the guys they probably talk about.

This personality type also has type 3 as a wing. So while the typical INFJ is more concerned about comfort, INFJ 2w3s are concerned about being successful.

They will want to have a measure of success in their lives. INFJ 2w3s will also be more people-oriented. This does not mean that they are extroverts.

They just have an enhanced version of the extroverted feeling (Fe) function. Add this to their wing’s need to interact with others and you get someone who’s truly fascinated by others.

Here’s a table that shows some of the major differences between both types.

Strengths of the INFJ 2w3

1.    Generous

INFJ 2w3s are very generous people. This is probably down to their dominant Enneagram type. As you probably know, type 2s are known for being caring and generous.

They are generous of not only their funds, but also their time and experience. People who are friends with them know that they have someone who’s always willing to help.

Generosity when practiced in moderation is always a good thing.

2.    Kind

Kind is a great word to describe the INFJ 2w3. Again, this is a product of their main enneagram type. INFJ 2w3s are kind and warm.

They combine the empathetic nature of the INFJ and the super helpful nature of type 2 perfectly. What you get is a genuine person who loves to help their friends if and when they can.

It can be great having them around.

3.    Ambitious

While type 2 is all about others and making them happy, type 3 is more concerned with being successful. They have big plans and ambitions and want to achieve them.

Because this personality type has type 3 as its wing, they will share similar traits. They will have their goals and strive towards them. The extent of their ambitions will depend on the strength of their wing.

However, you are sure to see streaks of their ambitions in everything they do.

4.    Persuasive

INFJ 2w3s will have persuasion as one of their skills. Type 2s want to help. This can manifest itself in convincing their friends to take what they see as the right options. Type 3s want to get ahead of the game. They need to be persuasive to do this.

INFJs, as earlier stated, have a very strong extroverted feeling (Fe) function. This also means they understand people more than many other personality types.

When all these factors come together, you get a person who’s extremely skilled at persuasion. They know how people work and how to push them to get what they want.

5.    Diplomatic

Diplomacy is something that type 2s love. Just like type 9s, they crave harmony in any environment they find themselves in.

They also want to make people happy. Having conflicts sure won’t help them achieve this goal. Their diplomatic nature makes it easy to get along with them.

Weaknesses of the INFJ 2w3

1.    People’s Pleaser

While typical INFJs are more independent and stubborn, INFJ 2w3s are not. They are more likely to be people-pleasers. This is because of their need to make people happy.

They are more likely to put the needs of others above theirs. This can lead to several problems. They might be manipulated or run over. They might also never have enough time to achieve their own goals.

2.    Loss of Identity

Type 2s are more interested in people’s lives. Type 3s are more interested in looking successful. In the process of achieving their interests, INFJ 2w3s might lose focus on what is truly important.

When this happens, a loss of identity can occur. To avoid this situation, this personality type needs to set healthy boundaries with others.

They also need to know what their core values are.

3.    Need for Validation

Type 2s do all the things they do with one goal in mind-validation. They want to be appreciated by others. Being loved is very important to them. This also applies to INFJ 2w3s.

When this appreciation or validation doesn’t come, it can take a toll on their mental health. They can also start fishing for compliments from people.

In worst-case scenarios, it can lead to depression or low self-esteem.

4.    Emotional

Finally, INFJ 2w3s are emotional. While there is nothing wrong with letting your emotions stand out, it can be a problem when taken too far.

INFJ 2w3s can allow their emotions to affect their decisions. This usually leads to wrong decisions. In some situations, these decisions can be fatal. While INFJs are considered to be the most rational of feelers, it might not apply to this variant.
