Step 1: Find Your Surface

The first step is to find a flat surface which is big enough to place your ingredients. A surface with extra space to spare before you begin making your DIY stress ball.

You’ll also need a regular sized bowl. Nothing too big or too small. As you can see, you have a good number of ingredients to mix.

Step 2: Add the Glue

The next step is adding glue to the bottom of the bowl as a base. You will require a lot of glue to make a great stress ball. Since ingesting glue is bad for you, use a ball you won’t use anymore.

You want to use enough glue to cover the bottom of your bowl as it serves as a base as earlier mentioned.

Step 3: Add Your Shaving Cream and Mix With A Spatula

The next step is to add your shaving cream. You need to be careful with this step as it requires measuring. The shaving cream needs to be 6 times the amount of glue used. However, you can use any kind of shaving cream you wish.

Add the paint gradually as you keep mixing to get the color of your choice. Then, proceed to add a contact solution gradually into your mixture. Then mix with your spatula.

Any contact solution will work. You just need the mixture to have slime texture, which makes it easy to mold into shape.

Step 5: Flatten Slime on Flat Surface

For this step, you have to first remove your mixture from the bowl and place it on a flat surface. Next, flatten the slime with your hands or gloves to avoid it sticking to your finger.

Flattening in a bowl will not give you the desired result and flattening with your hand can make it very sticky.

Step 6: Get Out the Cotton Balls

The next step is to get out your cotton balls and this is quite an important step. You need to first get cotton balls, break them down into tiny pieces and mix it with your flattened slime.

Press them into your slime mixture until they are broken down. Remember not to use too much as it might affect the outcome.

Step 7: Start Rolling

The next step is to fold your flattened slime paste and begin rolling it into a ball. Due to every other procedures in place, it should be firm in your hands.

You can notice your mixture beginning to look like a stress ball before folding it. You may not get the desired shape. However, that shouldn’t concern you right now. The only important thing is the firmness of the mixture.

Step 8: Take A Step Back Untill You’re Pleased

If you aren’t getting the desired shape, you might need to add more cotton balls. So, flatten the slime again, add your cotton balls, and roll into balls till you’re pleased.

Taking a step back can help you get the desired result till you’re pleased with the thickness. When you are, completely roll the slime into your stress balls and that’s it! Simple, wasn’t it?
